Kitakyushu has grown alongside the growth of modern Japan through manufacturing, including the steel industry.
In 2015, the government-run Yawata Steel Works-related facilities were registered as a World Heritage Site, and Nejichoco Laboratory’s “Nejichoco”, in the shape of a screw and nut, was born as if to inherit that spirit.

Nejichoco is available at Mojiko Retro Aid Station. You’ll have to decide whether to eat the screw and nut separately or together…
Nejichoco is fun to touch and delicious to eat. Look forward to the day!
